St. Mack is at it again.
Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale's Gallery Furniture stores on the North Freeway and along the Grand Parkway will serve as warming centers for those in need. This comes as more than a million Houstonians are without power during this unprecedented cold snap.
The stores are located at 6006 North Freeway (Houston) and 7227 West Grand Parkway South (Richmond).
McIngvale has a long history of helping Houstonians.
Each year, he also gives away room's full of furniture to families in need. He also famously opened up his North Freeway location to Hurricane Harvey survivors in 2017.
Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale and Gallery Furniture are offering shelter at Gallery Furniture North Freeway and Gallery Furniture Grand Parkway showrooms for Houstonians who need a warm place to stay and food to eat. With hot food and water to help ride out the storm, Gallery Furniture encourages Houstonians to take extreme caution while navigating the roads to get to the showrooms.
The stores are located at:
6006 North Freeway
7227 W Grand Pkwy S, Richmond, TX
COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed, and people are asked to bring extra masks in the event someone may need a mask.
Opinion: Maybe stop dunking on Texas, you vampires
Mack has a history of service to the community. He opened the North Freeway location to Hurricane Harvey victims for several days during the city’s major flood event.
