New website has goal of becoming one-stop solution by carrying products from retailers of all sizes that have an online presence.
FREDERIKSBERG, Denmark – InteriorBeat is a new site that will be officially launching in mid-March with a goal to offer the widest range of products for U.S. consumers looking for items for their homes.
The new site is the brainchild of Nikolaj Astrup who needed to furnish an apartment in 2018 after traveling extensively for several years.

“When I had to get more concrete and find exact products, I found it to be very difficult and super time-consuming,” said Astrup, co-founder of InteriorBeat. “There is an abundance of inspiration on social media, on blogs and in magazines. It’s also very easy to find the best price when you know exactly which product, including the brand and model that you want. But, when you have a lot of inspiration (and) still don’t know exactly which product you want, then it’s more difficult.”
Astrup said he spent a lot of unnecessary time looking for a green velour sofa with a chaise. It was challenging to get a broad overview of all the sofas that were available to him from a large variety of retailers.
“When you know what kind of interior product you want and you are pretty specific about it, we want to have the most results,” Astrup said. “We simply want to provide you with all the relevant products that can ship to you.”
InteriorBeat has partnered with several retailers initially to display products on the site.It will continue to add new options to the site with the goal of continually expanding.
“Instead of searching through different sites, we want to have the full overview, creating a one-stop solution,” he said.
InteriorBeat plans to work with all retailers within the interior sector that have an online presence. Astrup said the site will include items available from both the largest and smallest retailers to ensure that the widest possible selection is made available to consumers.
