TAYLORSVILLE, NC — Craftmaster Furniture has named Alex Reeves as president, taking over the reins from CEO Roy Calcagne, who is retiring. Calgane will remain as CEO through the end of this year. Reeves is coming from Sam Moore Furniture where he was president for the past three years.
An industry veteran of 35 years, Reeves has held several executive positions with various upholstery manufacturers. Earlier in his career, Reeves spent 11 years with Craftmaster as the senior vice president of sales and merchandising.
“Alex returns to Craftmaster bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead the company into the future,” said Calcagne. “He understands the position Craftmaster holds in the marketplace as a moderate/upper moderate custom order manufacturer known for producing high quality and fashion forward products. His background in sales and merchandising will enable the company to continue to grow.”

Craftmaster specializes in moderately priced upholstery products made in the U.S. Offering a broad selection of upholstered products and custom orders, Craftmaster offers more than 100 living room styles, 80 accents chairs and more than750 fabrics. Craftmaster is a subsidiary of Samson Holdings.
