LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – On Thursday, neighbors in the area of 7th Street West, and Olive Avenue North in Lehigh Acres noticed a big mess.
Someone had dumped their trash on the side of the road and left it for someone else to clean up.
“I didn’t even see it, but my grandkids came home from school, they were like grandma, said Frances Palmer from Lehigh Acres. “It’s a whole bunch of stuff down there like furniture, beds, and stove and stuff like that.”
She said she doesn’t know how anyone could miss it, there are tons of things out there. While Palmer was checking it out, she noticed some mail left behind with someone’s name and address on it.
We are working with Lee County officials to see if code enforcement was notified.
