Exclusive Furniture cut a pink ribbon to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of its ribbon cutting on Oct. 16.
HOUSTON — Top 100 retailer Exclusive Furniture held a grand opening for its Westheimer location on Oct. 16 with a Breast Cancer Awareness Month-themed celebration.
Located at 2450 Highway 6 South in Houston, the 30,000-square-foot showroom in the Alief community. This location provides a showroom larger than Exclusive’s previous Highway 6 location as well as a mattress store inside.
“We love continuing to expand our community presence in the city with new brick-and-mortar locations,” said Sam Zavary, president and CEO. “One of the things that continues to be the most exciting to me is doing it in my old stomping ground, the Alief Community. This year, Exclusive Furniture has been very blessed to grow, and this next year we have plans to expand into other markets as well.”
The grand opening began with a special twist as representatives from the company’s female leadership cut a pink ribbon. Fauzia Zavary, who heads logistics and shipping for the company in its C-suite, and VP of Marketing Carolina Chavez took the stage to direct the crowd and cut the pink ribbon.
The grand opening featured live entertainment by Grupo Kache, representatives from Miss Texas Latina and had various giveaways and prizes including Astros tickets, Google Minis and Gringo’s TexMex gift cards. The event also had family friendly activities and food and beverages such as face painting, dancers, food trucks and more. Customers who visited were offered discounts of 25% and free delivery, along with doorbusters and other promotions.
Exclusive Furniture ranks No. 89 in Furniture Today’s 2021 Top 100 list with $59 million in sales across seven stores in 2020.
