There are designer touches from top to bottom and from floor to ceiling at 1089 Chestnut St., a few blocks from the "crooked" part of Lombard Street. These are all part of a renovation that became a collaboration between the owners, who bought a much more neutral version of the home just over two years ago, and Presidio Heights' Jeff Schlarb Design Studio.
"The clients are certainly design enthusiasts, that's one of the reasons they loved the home so much," Schlarb said.
Despite the bespoke facelift, the owners recently put the five-bedroom, 7.5-bath home on the market for $11.9 million - $2 million more than they paid two years ago.
