Soften opening for Jonah’s Kitchen at 2518 Wilshire Blvd

A farm fresh restaurant has come to Santa Monica, centered around a wood fired grill from a celebrity chef whose clients include Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
On Thursday, June 24 Jonah’s Kitchen, 2518 Wilshire Boulevard, will launch with a soft opening starting at 5 p.m.. To start with, the hours will be Tuesday-Saturday, 5 p.m.-12 a.m., according to their website.
Jonah’s Kitchen is self described as “elevated fast casual”. Led by Chef Jonah Johnson, the menu features wood fire grilled, California inspired, organic dishes with a nod to Latin and Caribbean cuisine.
“From fresh ceviches to vegetables made to order, many dishes are available to be customized with a variety of sauces to give each customer a special experience and a chance to try something new each visit,” reads the restaurant’s website.
Johnson is a California raised celebrity chef whose most notable clients include Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. He is also credited for creating the menu at GOAL, a sports cafe in West Hollywood.
The restaurant is part of the LDH restaurant group, which has a handful of restaurants and coffee shops in Tokyo, Osaka and Yokosuka City.
