Martha Collins and Scott Pascoe are the featured artists for June at the Port Townsend Gallery.
Collins works with natural woods and dyed maple veneer, and uses sustainably-sourced domestic and exotic woods from all over the world, much of it from Edensaw Woods in Port Townsend.
According to the gallery, her creative process of lamination and lathe turning creates unique works of art and wearables with up to a thousand pieces of wood in them.
Collins — who makes bowls, bracelets, jewelry, and tableware — will showcase her new salt-and-pepper shaker sets at the gallery.
Pascoe paints in pastels, and his paintings at the gallery this month focus on the diverse water borne and shaped landscapes of the Salish coastline; the myriad aspects and moods of water in coastlines and bluffs, estuaries and islands, and ever-changing weather and water reflections.
The Port Townsend Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and by appointment.
The gallery is located at 715 Water St.
