South Shore Furniture will hold a virtual market on June 1 and 2, 2021. Some pieces from its Mezzy Collection are shown here.
SAINTE-CROIX, Canada – Ready-to-Assemble and e-commerce furniture specialist South Shore Furniture said it will not be attending the June High Point Market, but will instead be open to buyers with its June 1-2 Virtual Market.
The company said registration is now open for this virtual event, which will allow buyers to experience a virtual showroom tour and connect with company officials online to discuss both trendy new products and current inventory.
‘We’ll certainly look back on 2020 as a year of both multiple challenges and great achievements,” said Jean-Stéphane Tremblay, president and chief of operations. “Our teams have worked very hard to put new initiatives in place in order to better support our partners. This event is also an opportunity for us to review our latest actions and address our 2021 goals.”
“We firmly believe that communication is the key to a successful partnership and to continue meeting consumers’ needs the best way possible, together,” added Jean Fortin, vice president, supply chain and logistics. “This virtual market will also be a great time to discuss current issues, such as supplies, logistics and inventory management.”
Buyers seeking additional details and information about South Shore’s virtual market – including how to register – can contact the South Shore team directly at partners@southshore.ca or fill out the form found here. The company noted that buyers who already have an account specialist can contact those individuals directly via email.
I'm Tom Russell and have worked at Furniture/Today since August 2003. Since then, I have covered the international side of the business from a logistics and sourcing standpoint. Since then, I also have visited several furniture trade shows and manufacturing plants in Asia, which has helped me gain perspective about the industry in that part of the world. As I continue covering the import side of the business, I look forward to building on that knowledge base through conversations with industry officials and future overseas plant tours. From time to time, I will file news and other industry perspectives online and, as always, welcome your response to these Web postings.
