MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Top 100 retailer City Furniture recently signed a long-term lease for a new distribution center at the Bridge Point Commerce Center in Miami Gardens, Fla., that totals nearly 287,000 square feet.

“With easy access onto the Florida turnpike, it will allow us to continue to execute on our goal of same-day delivery throughout Miami-Dade County,” said Ryan Cronin, City Furniture director of real estate and finance.

Cronin said the new world-class corporate park environment supports City’s desire for same-day delivery and limited in-person customer pickup.

Located on a 185-acre site, Bridge Point Commerce Center is equidistant from Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale International Airport and offers immediate access to all points in South Florida via the Florida Turnpike and I-75.

Initially established in the 1970s as Waterbed City, Tamarac, Fla.-based City Furniture now operates 20 showrooms from Miami through Vero Beach in southwest and central Florida, along with 14 Ashley Furniture showrooms as the brand’s southeast and southwest Florida licensee and with an extensive e-commerce site.
