Copenhagen-based label Wood Wood has returned with its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, taking inspiration from the ’60s and ’70s in the Danish city. The collection is heavily influenced by the label’s home area of Nørrebro, with a focus on reinventing looks worn in the region from the 1960s and ’70s.

The menswear items in the collection showcase this influence through twists on classic wax jackets, long-sleeve polo shirts and crochet cardigans. The pieces are all produced using high-quality fabrics, ranging from twelve-wale Duca Visconti corduroy to chambras from the Italian fabric mill Abiante. The same focus on materials and influences is seen in the womenswear pieces, which include linen suits, pintuck dresses and more hand-crochet items. Additionally, Wood Wood introduces new graphic pieces throughout the collection.

Take a look through the SS21 collection in the gallery above. Wood Wood’s full seasonal range is due to release via the brand’s web store and physical locations on January 20.

In other fashion news, Burberry has launched a new Future Archive collection.
