After one more game shorthanded on Sunday, the Rockets expect to be at full strength when they reconvene for practice at Toyota Center on Monday.
James Harden and P.J. Tucker, who have been going through individual workouts after late arrivals for the start of training camp, along with Christian Wood, who sat out the preseason game in Chicago, are expected to participate in Monday’s practice. Tucker had attended each of the Rockets' team workouts after missing the first one Dec. 6.
Guard Sterling Brown, who was still in the testing protocols last week, is also expected to be cleared.
“They’re supposed to be at practice (on Monday,) as far as I know,” Silas said of Harden and Tucker. “I haven’t heard anything to the contrary. So, we’ll see those guys when we practice tomorrow.
“It’s very important. You want to have your whole team with the shortened schedule. We’re playing a real game in 10 days, so to have those guys back will be important just so they can get on the same page as everybody else.”
