Xtravaganza Week 3 is here bringing a slew of new challenges to Forntite that reward players with large amounts of experience once completed. One of the challenges requires players to farm large amounts of Wood, Stone, or Metal. This challenge has three parts each rewarding the player with 20,000 experience. This guide will teach players where they can land to gather Wood, Stone, or Metal the fastest.

Players who don't regularly farm materials may struggle to complete this task if they want to complete it by playing normally. The first part of this challenge requires the player to collect 1,000 materials. The second requires 1,500 materials. And the third requires 2,000 materials. While this can be done by landing anywhere, there are a couple of places players can land to speed up the process of collecting 4,500 materials. Here are the best places to land to complete this challenge quickly.

1 Where To Collect Materials In Fortnite

Since players don't have to collect every type of material, they could focus on collecting wood. This is because wood is the most common material, and farmable object drops more wood per hit than stone or metal. There are also two locations on the map that players can land and easily collect large amounts of wood. These locations are Logjam Woodworks and Weeping Woods. Weeping Woods is the large forest area on the map with hundreds of trees players can chop down. Logjam Woodworks is a pallet factory landmark that has tons of wooden pallets players can destroy for materials. These two locations are marked on the map above.

Logjam Woodworks may be a player's best bet for a safe drop. Being a landmark, its name doesn't appear on the map and it is smaller than the larger POIs surrounding it. As well, Weeping Woods can already be considered a hot drop meaning more players go there by default. Weeping Woods is also home to Wolverine who will attack the player on sight. Logjam Woodwork's pallets are abundant and offer players a healthy amount of wood per swing. Landing at Logjam Woodworks and destroying all of the pallets will make collecting thousands of wood an absolute breeze. If the player maxes out their wood, they can build or drop their materials to continue destroying trees or pallets.
