UPDATE: Man identified after arrest on Wood Co. property - WSAW

TOWN OF ROCK, Wis. (WSAW) - According to Wood County Sherriff Shawn Becker, Jacob Immerfall, 34, was arrested Thursday after a search of a property in rural Wood County.

According to jail documents, Immerfall is being held on a charge of hiding a corpse and a probation hold.

Sheriff Becker says his department executed a search warrant at a property on Patton Drive in the Town of Rock Thursday. The warrant was related to a case involving missing Marshfield man Zachary Vasa. Vasa was reported missing June 13.

According to Sheriff Becker, cadaver dogs hit multiple times in the house and on the 40-acre property. Becker says a body wasn’t found. The investigation is ongoing. The Wisconsin Department of Justice and Marshfield police are assisting with the investigation.
