Former Lt. Gov. Corinne Wood sells mansion for $2 million - Chicago Tribune

Wood, 66, was lieutenant governor from 1999 until 2003, working alongside then-Gov. George Ryan. After serving as the state’s first female lieutenant governor, she lost a bid for the Republican nomination for governor in 2003. Paul Wood, meanwhile, co-founded private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners.
