Storm Lake United has canceled this year's Wood, Wine and Blues event due to COVID-19 concerns.
The event had been scheduled for August 14th through the 16th. Wood, Wine and Blues has taken place the past seven years.
Storm Lake United says their top priority is the well-being of attendees, volunteers, wood carvers, vendors, wineries, and musicians. They have been closely monitoring the situations with COVID-19, and with input from Buena Vista County Public Health, the City of Storm Lake, and Storm Lake United board members, the decision was made to postpone Wood, Wine and Blues until 2021.
Storm Lake United says they will focus their efforts on next year’s event, which they expect to be bigger and better than ever before.
