Coon Rapids, MN (May 12, 2020) – HOM Furniture fed over 20,000 Meals to local frontline heroes in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. It started on Thursday, April 16 with our first delivery to Mercy and Unity Campus’s in Coon Rapids and Fridley, Minnesota. It expanded to other Twin City Metro hospitals including North Memorial -Robbinsdale, Hennepin County Medical Center, MHealth Fairview hospitals including Bethesda, Woodwinds, St. John’s, St. Joseph’s, University of Minnesota East & West Bank, Essentia Health in Fargo, and St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. With every $499 or more purchase at HOM Furniture or DOCK85 thru May 8, 2020, a donation of $50 from the purchase was donated to feed our local frontline heroes.
On May 4 HOM partnered with local Pizza Ranch Franchises to deliver hot individual two piece chicken dinners and personalized individual pizza’ss to include local EMS, Police, and Firefighters. We expanded into Sioux Falls to deliver to Sanford Health which ends this Friday, May 15, 2020.
